SPRING SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION
Life in its daily flow and in all of its various shades. A community of strong and decisive characters. Denim seen as a shared element that carries the trace of their DNA. That is how the new Jacob Cohën SS26 collections are described, through the reconstruction of a village, populated by the JC Community.
A village that has space for art, craftsmanship and free time. There is a mechanic, a washerwoman and a beekeeper. But there is also a bar and a casino. It is a “Small (JC) World”, all in denim, made by Fabio Cherstich and designed by Jennifer Tommasi Bardelle, already the brand’s Artistic Director and who is now making her debut in designing collections. The music is by Carla Bruni, the guest of honour and a beauty who perfectly reflects the Jacob Cohën look, in this celebration of forty years of the brand.
And it is also denim that is the backdrop to the Jacob Cohën SS26 Menswear collection that starts out from an obsession with quality and details. A journey through the sophisticated world of a man cleverly combining contemporary elegance with Italy’s luxury tradition. A polite, refined attitude with a mid-20th century feel, producing clothes with a soft and distinguished drape around the body. There are exclusive collaborations with the Loro Piana Pecora Nera fabrics for checked shirts and trousers, with natural colours like the ones used in the natural palette for the clothes in Cashmere Raw. Not forgetting the fabulous Loro Piana silks, linen and fine wool. It is the art of living nowadays. The elegance of super-light suede, in pale pink tones, can be found in a lengthened trucker jacket, and in tobacco-coloured tones, it becomes an overshirt with clear references to denim shirts or zip-up jackets. Ultra fine waterproof wool is light and soft, a fabric that is completely unexpected when it comes to beach shorts and windbreakers. Featherweight jersey material and a breath of cashmere is used for the polo shirts, with or without buttons, in faded pink, beige and ice tints, and in all the shades of blue. And the Sea Island cotton creates essential clothes, with precise lines and volumes, an impeccable cut and an obsessive level of finish. That is the casual elegance of Jacob Cohën.
Authentic, independent. Able to deliver timeless elegance, but one with plenty of character. That is the Jacob Cohën SS26 Woman. A contemporary wardrobe, designed with the brand’s styling. A precise style. A precise aesthetic vision. The quest for fluid, fine, languid fabrics is obsessive. But it starts out from denim, because that is the main fabric for Jacob Cohën. It features in different washes, thicknesses, with different effects and uses. Trench coats, running shorts and five-pocket flares. Carrot-fit jumpsuits laced up at the bottom, or sleeveless mini dresses. Summery. Waistlines are marked by belts, layered fabrics and superimposed colours. Without any exaggeration. Femininity is also unleashed in silk shirts with deep back necklines and bare shoulders. Or the cut, nearly monastic, refined with pleating and scarf collars. Only leather can be as decisive as denim. Strong. So strong that it is a statement of freedom and courage. Suede, deerskin and nappa glove leather. In sea blue and cognac shorts, and also in the suits with skirts with double splits front and back. Suits with double-breasted jackets worn casually. Details such as silk inserts, in matching hues, add a precious touch to zipped knitwear. There is a focus on knitwear with longuette dresses, a perfect balance between elegance, sensuality and femininity. Pastel colours with hints of dark blue and black.
